Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a significant health issue in the Australian community, and patients often continue to experience debilitating symptoms despite standard therapy. Healthscope, in collaboration with their Respiratory Physicians, have launched a new 3.5-hour CPD activity to help you navigate this important area of respiratory medicine.
In this interactive CPD module, we’re exploring “The role of triple therapy in respiratory disease: COPD”, focusing on the multi-system impact of the condition and the evidence-based management strategies that can improve patient outcomes. This CPD activity is accredited for both Specialists and GPs.
Learning Outcomes:
- Review the incidence and prevalence of COPD in the Australian community
- Review the multi-system impact of COPD on patients with the condition
- Outline current treatment and management regimes for patients with COPD
This is a RACGP CPD module with an allocated 0.5 hours of Education Activities (EA), 2 hour of Measuring Outcomes (MO), and 1 hour of Reflective Practice (RP) under the RACGP 2023-25 CPD program.
This activity was recorded in August 2025.
